Natalia Gil

Natalia Gil (b. 1996) works across various media, with a particular focus on wool, often enriched with decorative elements. Her practice explores the concepts of meaning, the impression of meaning, and symbolism. In the visual world she creates, she seeks comfort in an imagined sense of meaning and understanding of the world through a personal iconography. Her works also address themes of uncertainty, dysphoria, and the search for spirituality. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 2021 and is currently based between Paris and Warsaw.
