SLIGHT OF HAND 2025
Small Works by 19th - 21st Century Artists
NOVEMBER 13, 2025 - JANUARY 7, 2026
MEPAINTSME is pleased to present Slight of Hand, MPM Gallery’s annual survey of small-format artworks. Now in its fourth year, Slight of Hand serves as an intersection of emerging voices, established practitioners and artists from the past, offering newer participants the opportunity to exhibit alongside many well-known figures, as well as a selection of engaging historical works.
The presentation encompasses a broad range of approaches, from the quietly evocative nudes by Gertrude Honzatko-Mediz and Ashley Bradley Thomas to the vibrant, textural compositions of Sean Powers and Manik Raj Nakra. The curation of such diverse works forms a compelling conversation about the profound impact of the intimate, while highlighting the enduring power of individual expression across different eras and artistic visions.
